Tokyo, February 1, 2017 --- Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT) (TSE: 2914) has announced the launch of three new products from Winston, the second largest tobacco brand in the world(*1) . "Winston mini Bitter Red 12," "Winston mini Straight Blue 8," and "Winston mini Sweet White One" will be launched nationwide from late February in Japan.

The Winston brand was born in 1954 in the United States and today it is a global brand with over sixty years of history. The Cabin and Caster brands were integrated into the Winston brand in 2015 with unified product packaging to share its global identity.

Three new products for 380 yen from Winston family

In line with our aim to continuously satisfy the diverse preferences of our consumers, Winston has prepared a lineup that allows a variety of taste types to be enjoyed. These include a "bitter type", with a roasted taste; a "straight type", with a clear and smooth taste; and a "sweet type", with a mellow taste.

'Winston is offering three mini palm-sized products priced at 380 yen so more consumers can enjoy the three taste types: "Winston mini Bitter Red 12", "Winston mini Straight Blue 8", and "Winston mini Sweet White One".

"Winston mini Bitter Red 12" features a deep, authentic tobacco taste; "Winston mini Straight Blue 8" offers a clean sharp taste; and "Winston mini Sweet White One" features a rich, mellow taste.

The package highlights a boldness and strong presence with a distinctive color to represent each taste, as well as the Winston logo, a "mini" descriptor and the Eagle – the symbol of the Winston Brand.

As shown by the launching of these new Winston products, JT is committed to continuously improving the quality of its products and services to satisfy consumers better.
